Training your rabbit to come to you when you call its name is actually pretty easy. To do this, simply call the rabbits name and when it comes give it a treat. The first step to teaching your rabbit to come when you call it is to find out what its favorite treat is. Use this treat as a bait to get the rabbit to come to you. The second step is to get close to the rabbit and show the rabbit the treat. Next, you are going to want to call its name or whatever command you want. After the bunny comes to you give it the treat. When the rabbit is coming to you consistently start adding more distance and then offer the food and say the command. Some rabbits will catch onto the training faster than others. If your rabbit is having a difficult time at first, don't fret. Just keep with it. So, go to your rabbit and try this now. Your rabbit may be confused at first. It probably won't know what the heck you're talking about. But after a while, your rabbit will start to understand that when it comes to you, you give it a treat. Now, at first you're only getting your rabbit to come for the food. But this is just the start. When you get a better relationship with your rabbit, it should start following you all over the place. Be sure to use a simple calling phrase. If your rabbit has a name that's over several letters, maybe try going with a nickname. The shorter the word, the easier it will be for your rabbit to recognize it.
